Baby's First Christmas

ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. Eligibility. Subject to any additional restrictions below, Baby's First Christmas Photo Display is produced by The News Tribune and is open to residents of the State of Washington. Employees, officers, directors and representatives of Sponsors, and their immediate family members and those living in their household, as well as each person or entity connected with the production or administration of this Photo Display, are eligible to participate.
2. Registration and photo posting period begins Friday, December 3, 2010 and ends at NOON on Friday, December 17, 2010.
3. Registration Instructions and photo posting: Beginning Friday, December 3, 2010 register and upload photo directly at www.thenewstribune.com and pay $39.00 by credit card. Digital photo should in JPG or tif format with 270 DPI resolution. Additional registration method available in person. Bring your Baby's photo and check or cash directly to The News Tribune located at 1950 South state Street, Tacoma, WA 98405 where you can pick-up a hard copy print registration form. Fill out the form to go along with your photo and payment and The News Tribune staff will upload the photo to the website for you. Photo must be 3” wide or larger and most digital pictures taken in the mid-to-high quality camera setting will be fine. Poor quality photos of either type will not be accepted. All photos must be approved before they will actually be visible online. Expect a delay of 24-48 hours from the time your photo is uploaded before you will be able to view it. All required information on the registration form (online or print) MUST be filled out completely. Only one photo, per registration, per $39 payment will be accepted. Baby's name and birth date must be included with all registrations as well as written on the back of each photo (when bringing photo directly into The News Tribune). Registration forms (online & print) with incomplete or incorrect information will not be accepted. Sponsor reserves the right to refuse any photograph it determines to be unacceptable. By submitting this information, the photo and registration form serves as a release for The News Tribune to use name, birth date and photo in The News Tribune and on its web site. Checks and money orders for in lobby registration fee of $39 must be made payable to The News Tribune. All photos become the property of The News Tribune, and will not be returned. Copyrighted photos must be accompanied by a photographer's release.
4. Online registration only: Visit the official registration page on The News Tribune website (www.thenewstribune.com) and scroll down and click on the Baby's First Christmas Icon. Complete the required information, upload photo and then submit your registration by clicking on the “SUBMIT” button. Your computer must access cookies, or any successor or similar technology, which may be used for the purpose of entry tracking. Online registrations must be received by 5:00PM December 14.
5. In person Entry: Complete the registration form available at The News Tribune office located at 1950 South State Street, Tacoma WA 98405. The entry form with the photo and payment must be presented to the lobby receptionist by 5PM December 14
   Photos will be published in The News Tribune, on Saturday, December 25, 2010 and will remain online through January 4, 2011. Positioning of the photos will be determined solely by The News Tribune.
6. Limitations of Liabilities: The News Tribune shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, stolen, misdirected, incomplete unreadable, inaccurate, garbled or unintelligible Registrations, communications or affidavits, regardless of the method of transmission; (ii) telephone system, telephone or computer hardware, software or other technical or computer malfunctions, lost connections, disconnections, delays or transmission errors; (iii) data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of Registration or other materials. (iv) any printing, typographical, administrative or technological errors in any materials associated with Baby's First Christmas. The News Tribune disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participating in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with Baby's First Christmas, and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend Baby's First Christmas Promotion should a virus, bug, computer problem, unauthorized intervention or other causes beyond The News Tribune's' control without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or The News Tribune. In the event of a dispute, all online registrations & photos will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the ISP account from which they were sent. For these purposes, an ISP account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such ISP account by the Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning ISP addresses for the domain associated with such ISP account. All registrations become the property of The News Tribune.
   Any questions regarding the owner of an ISP account shall be determined by The News Tribune in its sole discretion and The News Tribune reserves the right to disqualify any registrations and/or photos by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the promotion.
