Show off your art skills for a chance to win a VIP experience at The Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire!
To participate in the contest simply complete the coloring page of your choice and submit your art using one of the methods below. Don’t forget to have your parent or guardian fill out the bottom of the page clearly before sending in your submission! Winners will be contacted on Tuesday, August 16th. Be sure to keep an eye out for a phone call/email, you could be one of our lucky winners!
To get started, simply download our coloring page and draw a picture of you and dad at the ballpark with Rhubarb or submit your own hand-drawn artwork on a simple 8.5x11 sheet of paper. There are several different ways you can enter:
- Take a photo of your art or scan it on the computer and upload the file on the contest submission tab of our ‘Washington Midsummer Renaissance Fair Coloring Contest’ found at: www.thenewstribune.com/contests
- Entries can also be mailed to: Washington Midsummer Renaissance Fair Coloring Contest, c/o The News Tribune, 1950 South State Street, Tacoma, WA 98405.
- Submit your entry in person at The News Tribune:The News Tribune, 1950 South State Street, Tacoma, WA 98405 - 9:00am - 4:30pm.
The Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire. Two grand prizes will be awarded (one for each category). Each grand prize includes:
- A costume (Knight or Fairy, Costumes provided by Ben Franklin Crafts)
- Run of Fair Passes for a family of 4 (can attend the Fair every weekend)
- Run of Fair Camping Passes (can camp all 3 weekends at the fair)
- Accompany the Queen to the Joust on Saturday August 20th at 2:00pm
- Gift Certificate from Ben Franklin Crafts
All entries must be received by Monday, August 15th.
